Welsh skipper Gareth Thomas will hit the century mark this weekend when he runs out for the 100th time for Wales.

It had been feared the 33-year-old might not reach the milestone, having suffered rib damage earlier in the tournament. He missed the Red Dragons’ win over in Japan and had been in doubt for Saturday’s Pool B clash with Fiji.
