Thumbs up World cup 2007

England vs South Africa

England had a disapointing game in yesterdays world cup clash against South Africa, they could not deal with the strength of the Springbok. At half time they came off the pitch 20-0 down and looked liked a broken side, however trying there best they had a valiant attempt in the second half by only letting the springbok score 16 points pasts them, the end result was South Africa 36 England 0. Now also have bigger worries with injuries to Jason Robinson who was the one who looked most likely to make a break past the Spingbok and also Jason Noon. It's now going to be a tough and physical game against samoa next week?

What did you think of the game?

Here's hoping that England can pick up the pace somewhat... And for anyone who needs a quick break from televised world cup action, you could do worse than taking a look at www.orangerugbyschool.com

I currently working on behalf of Orange and I hope you don't mind me mentioing the site - but I think you may rather like it - it features Martin Johnson's expert commrntary as you tackle sumo wrestlers, robots and more...

And is ideal for getting any frustrations out of your system if your team get beaten (by .. say ... South Africa for instance) :-)

Cheers

Tony

Actually normally we would mind! If you stay and post with us, then it will be ok this one time. If not then we will move the threads in a day or two.

We dont mind spam, as long as it's a regular poster. A new poster that talks about his or her site, tell us, you have no interest in being a poster here.

Can you prove us wrong?

The Rugby World Cup has been ok so far, nothing special, England aren't doing the best, but I wasnt really expecting them to win it.

Well I am very happy with progress of Australia, but I am also hoping Italy will make the quarter finals. After Foxtel got rid of the Six Nations coverage and I read about Italys improvement but so far am dissapointed of their efforts.

Hope the give a good performance against Portugal tonight

Italy will have to win against Scotland in about 10 days to make the quarters.
Can be done as they have beaten the Scots before recently.

Australia are looking good, and Wales tested them recently but the result was never in doubt. The Wallabies could struggle if Mortlock or Larkham are out due to injuries.
