The Canterbury Crusaders rallied from a 12-point deficit in the second half Sunday to beat the Western Force 29-24 and move into top spot in the Super 14 rugby standings.
The Force led 17-12 at the break and then 24-12 on 50 minutes when Lachlan Mackay finished off a long-range try in which he handled twice.
But the Crusaders responded, with Ali Williams barging over from a quick tap in the 54th, scrumhalf Andrew Ellis starting and finishing a long-range try from the kick restart, and Casey Laulala crossing for the winner in the 68th minute on a counterattacking movement.
