Argentina's rugby union team, who finished a remarkable third at the World Cup in France, have met with their president and his wife upon returning to their homeland.

The Pumas beat the hosts 34-10, their second victory over France during the torunament, to seal the third place last Friday, their best ever World Cup performance.

And today they were received at the presidential palace by president Nestor Kirchner and his wife Cristina.

The team presented the president with a team jersey and he praised them for their 'triumph'.

"You have shown Argentines what we are capable of when working in a team," said Kirchner.

Kirchner is a big liar he hates teams, he governs alone with his inner circle, but I don't want to discuss anything related to this gentleman or his wife in another thread I will tell you what we think about our Pumas in the near future, with the Kirchner family we have enough and they will last more than most of our Pumas playing rugby, even Juani Hernandez who is only 24 years old.
