Why are night games played in Welly?

davico05 Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 1 Credits: -215.00	Why are night games played in Welly? Can anyone explain to me why night games are played in Wellington during the winter? Especially internationals? It may have still been raining during the day (don't know) but a freezing downpour does not do justice to the way those two teams can play!
