South Africa's Bulls maintained their unbeaten Super 14 record this season when leading at halftime, beating the New South Wales Waratahs 20-6.
The Bulls, who moved into the top four with the win, led 7-3 at halftime. It was their sixth win of the season in eight matches, and all six have come after the South Africans led at the break.
Winger Bryan Habana scored the only try of the first half in the 16th minute, converted by Morne Steyne. The Waratahs' only points came on a penalty by Daniel Halangahu after the siren had sounded to end the first half.
The Bulls intercepted an errant lineout throw from Wartahs hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau inside the New South Wales quarter and quickly shifted the ball right to Habana.
Steyn added a drop goal and a penalty in the second half while Kurtley Beale added a penalty for the Waratahs before front rower Werner Kruger clinched the match for the Bulls with 11 minutes left.
