Eagles ready for Super 14
South Western District Eagles rugby boss Stag Cronje said his union is strong enough to lead a new Super 14 franchise.
"Our house is in order. All we need is the opportunity to prove it. If given an opportunity of three years our sponsorships will be in order as well as the Outeniqua Stadium.
"The municipality already has plans to improve the facilities and to ensure more seating. "Just give us the change. Wee will definitely not disappoint," Cronjé said.
He said the SWD's structures are in place and that everybody is working flat out towards the future. Cronjé was reacting to media speculations about who actually will lead the new franchise.
