The Auckland Blues moved into the top four in rugby's Super 14 Friday, picking up a four-try bonus point with a 46-12 win over South Africa's winless Cheetahs.
Auckland scored two first-half tries and two more immediately after halftime to clinch the bonus within 45 minutes, then added another two tries in the last 12 minutes to claim a third win from five games this season.
Fly half Jimmy Gopperth kicked six goals from seven attempts - five conversions and two penalties - for 16 points.
The five points Auckland took from Friday's win gave them 16 points for the season, lifting them above the Wellington Hurricanes and within a point of the third-placed Sharks.
The Bloemfontein-based Cheetahs have lost all five matches this season and sit last with two competition points.
