The Rugby Football League has charged Paul Cooke in connection with his controversial move from Hull FC to Hull KR earlier this season.
Cooke, who signed for Rovers in April, has been accused of making an illegal approach to another club prior to the expiry of his contact.

The RFL cleared Cooke to make the move, but referred allegations of misconduct to its compliance commissioner.

"I knew when I left it could come to this. I'm fine about it," said Cooke.

"My solicitors are on to it, there's nothing more I can say. I'm sure it will all come out eventually."

Cooke's disciplinary hearing will take place on 24 September.
