Scotland head coach Frank Hadden today handed Glasgow centre Graeme Morrison a call up to the Scotland 22 for Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations clash with Wales at the Millennium Stadium.
Having last pulled on a Scotland jersey against South Africa in the 2004 Autumn Tests, Morrison spoke about the long road back to the international scene.
“It’s been difficult. I joke about it a lot with Muffles (Andrew Henderson). He calls his year out of the national squad as his ‘year in the wilderness’ whereas I call it my ‘four years in the wilderness!’
“It’s important to stay positive though because I have been in and out of the Scotland squad quite a lot. You just need to keep plugging away.
