Warriors 16 – 18 Dragons
A win for the Warriors tonight would have made it an unbeaten calendar year at home, but their Welsh bogey team, Newport Gwent Dragons, were their undoing.
The Dragons have now beaten the Warriors in all but one meeting of the two sides.
Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, was suitably frustrated with the result: “We made too many basic errors. These guys are meant to professional rugby players and passing and catching seems to be beyond some of them.
”Our skill level doesn’t back our ambition. It’s all down to how we as a group take it on from here.
