Tickets for Scotland’s opening 2008 RBS 6 Nations Championship game against France are now available.
In a new initiative tickets for West and East Stands are being released for sale at £60 for adults and £30 for under-18s and students. “We’re making these tickets available now as we know from feedback from our supporters that there’s always high demand for these seats,” said Colin Douglas, Scottish Rugby’s Ticket Centre manager.
Clubs, Debenture Holders, members of the Scotland Rugby Supporters’ Club and other stakeholder groups are all currently finalising their applications for the clash at Murrayfield on Sunday 3 February.
However, in keeping with previous trends for Scotland v France matches at Murrayfield, Scottish Rugby is able to make tickets available for public sale. Other tickets are available at £45 and £30 for adults with consequent student/child discounts of £22.50 and £15.
“Scotland beat France on their last visit to Murrayfield in 2006 and supporters have been telling us they like the idea of being able to buy tickets now as they can then give them to friends or loved ones as Christmas present,” Douglas added.
Tickets can be bought online through
www.scottishrugby.org; or via the credit card hotline 0131 346 5100. It is staffed from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Supporters can also call in at the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Roseburn Street, Murrayfield, which is open at the same hours. No tickets will be available for sale on match day.
