Blair joins brother at Edinburgh
Quote:
Edinburgh have signed fly-half David Blair - brother of the club's Scotland scrum-half, Mike - from Sale Sharks.
The 22-year-old is among five additions announced to the Magners League outfit's academy.
Scrum-half Ciaran Beattie and hooker Sean Crombie, both 21, were previously with the now defunct Border Reivers.
Full-back James Thompson, 22, has stepped up from Heriot's, while 18-year-old centre Stephen McColl has graduated from Dunfermline.
Blair, who made four appearances for Sale last season, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I'm really looking forward to developing my game - and to be playing alongside my brother."

Edinburgh backs coach Rob Moffat expressed his delight at the signing of what he views as a bright prospect for the future.
"David has played stand-off for Scotland U-21 and we think it is great to have yet another exciting young Scottish talent sign for Edinburgh," he said.
"We are in the business of developing young Scottish players at this club and always have been.
"The emergence of Scotland U-19 captain Fraser McKenzie, lock Steven Turnbull and prop Innes Brown into the first-team squad last season is testimony to that."
