A development company looking to build affordable townhomes in Hagersville is in a Hamilton court today seeking an injunction against Six Nations protesters.
John Voortman and Associates Ltd., controlled by John Voortman Sr., is asking the court to block native protesters from its six-acre parcel of land in Hagersville.
After previous delays, and after a prayer from a representative of the Haudenosaunee Men's Fire, Voortman's lawyer Michael Bordin began presenting his client's case this morning.
