To some it was inspired. To me it was a no-brainer. The scheduler who decided the final fixture of this season's RBS Six Nations should feature Wales and Ireland instead of either of the habitual winners England and France was no genius but a shrewd player of the percentages.
No-one could have scripted the final moments of the match at the Millennium Stadium when Ronan O'Gara's drop goal regained the lead for Ireland and Stephen Jones narrowly failed to snatch it back for Wales with the last kick of the match.
