Wales' 10 changes are the talking point ahead of this one. It has been widely suggested that they weaken the side. but that may not be the case as within the switches Wales could yet discover the ingredients to add the variation, pizzazz and form that has been sorely lacking when opening bully-boy tactics let them down.
Warren Gatland keeps a close eye on his charges and has never shied away from making whatever selection calls are needed, going back as far as his seismic five debutants selection for Ireland v Scotland in 2000. These changes may not be as temporary as has been suggested either. Gatland understands as well as anyone the value of putting everything up for grabs now and again and with several big names simply not living up to their reputations so far, the key pecking orders - not least in the back-row - may well have been re-ordered by the end of this one.
