FLINT Under 12s went down fighting 34-7 to Helsby U12s on Sunday.

Up against a bigger and stronger pack, the Welshman never gave up in defence or attack.

And their efforts were rewarded with a breakaway try.

Hooker Om Roscoe hooked the ball back to scrum-half Jack Goss, who picked up from the scrum and then set off on a lung-busting dash which ended with him playing in Rhys Thomas to touch down. Goss added the conversion.
