Stay2011 is an exciting new website, launched in April 2010, for finding Rugby accommodation.

The Rugby World Cup will be the largest event New Zealand has ever hosted, with 85,000+ visitors expected over the September - October 2011 period. Many of these visitors will be based in Auckland during the final weeks of the tournament, and will be visiting other top New Zealand destinations before and after the cup.

Stay2011 was created to provide international and domestic visitors with an easy place to find private houses and apartments to stay in, as well as individual rooms for smaller groups. Many hotels are expecting to be fully booked for the World Cup, and will be charging higher than normal rates accordingly. This makes private rental accommodation a great alternative for visitors, especially larger groups looking for a 'home away from home' where they can base themselves during the World Cup.

With the knockout stage of the tournament occuring over 3 weekends in October 2011, visitors will be able to book accommodation over the entire period, and explore the country between matches.

Thanks for your interest in our website. Unfortunately we only provide a medium for rugby fans to access privately offered accommodation in New Zealand, instead of having to pay for expensive hotels etc.

Therefore, we hold no affiliation to any travel agents or to Rugby World Cup Limited (the official organisation running the rugby world cup 2011). To answer your questions, we cannot provide any of the mentioned services, only help finding accommodation.
