Default How- after injury- do you still play?

Alright, how the heck do you play rugby for years? I've been playing for like 2-3 months and have already twisted my ankle pretty bad, and f-ed up my shoulder. I am beginning to become discouraged, I cannot keep taking this kind of trauma. Any advice out there? My shoulder is seperated and from what I understand i will need to wrap it before games and practice. I need some wise words from you rugbyers

I have been playing rugby for 4 years going on 5 and last year i had a concusion went to hostpital. The only wise words i cac give you is the same my coach and doctor gave to me, We all play rugby to enjoy it and to continue on through an injury is a key part of rugby, well all get our bumps and bruises but its how we overcome these that makes us the player we are. Man tough it out and keep trying man no success ever came out of giving up.

It's this that makes us different from sports like American football.

I know how you feel. My first season was this spring with my highschool team and we practiced every day after school for 1.5-2 hours and had 2 games a week and I got pretty beat up. It gets better the more you play. All I can tell you is to work out, especially any areas that you hurt, and to take care of your injuries (ie. wrapping them and heating/icing them)

Some people are just not made for this tough sport.
It all depends on all stregth and
its quite possible that you can give up if you are not tough.
Not everyone can take all that pressure on the body.
