O'Driscoll's intercept try last year in Croke Park against Munster, my heart stopped.

I agree with you on all three counts,...the Lomu try was something that I could watch anytime,it was ........I dont have a word that fits it.
I played a bit of rugby in my younger days(low grade) as a winger, but the thoughts of seeing Lomu running at me would have scared the living daylights out of me.

Definitely each time SA had won the world cup. Of course I also just love it when we beat Australia. I don't know why I love it so much... sorry guys.

The All Blacks are probably my second favourite rugby team.

As New Zealand crossed the line against the Wallabies George Gregan hit the ball carrier with his shoulder knocking the ball out of his hands thereby stopping him grounding the ball for a try which would have put the ABs in the lead,...HEART-STOPPING.

Got to be Guscott's drop goal for the lions series win in SA 1997, great moment, and the last time Lions won a series...

It was July 2000 in Wellington. I remember it because I was at Thredbo and came in from skiing to watch the test. I then went back out for a few runs and shared a T-bar with a bloke who told me he was a Kiwi. I laughed and he said he gathered that the Wallabies had won because he could hear a giant roar come up the mountain from the village.

Anyone got a favourite try?? Mine would be between Matt Dawson's outrageous dummy for the Lions, and Carlos Spencer's length of the field effort for the Auckland Blues, followed by his touchline conversion. Unbelievable!!

The All Blacks v Northern Command (a team chosen from Players who were in the british forces stationed in North England)...Headingley..1942 or 43. Northern Command were leading by 1 or 2 points,3 minutes left to play,The AB were awarded a free kick near the touchline just INSIDE,their own 25 yard line, and the famous Kiwi fullback BERT COOK picked up the ball and commenced to dig a hole with his heel to place the ball for a kick at goal, yes 80 metres at least.the crowd started whistling and jeering(me included) thinking he was crazy,he took his time meticulously and took only two steps back and then BANG...over it went at least 10 feet above the crossbar, the greatest goalkick the world has EVER SEEN,and I was priveledged to be there to see it, Incidentally if any of you saw Bert(who played for Leeds for many years after) you might remember his unique kicking style,...he had no follow through with his leg after making contact with the ball.
