Hey all,

I'm a rugby fan that is going to Murrayfield for the first time for the 6 nations in February.

I'm just looking for some tips on the best pubs to go to before and after the game? Apparently there is a main road with lots of pubs dotted along it - any tips on which is best and why?

My mate told me there were a few tents this year too giving out free drinks - did anyone go to these? Are they worth it?

hey, where are you coming from? there is always beer tents at murrayfield, but it was the Famous Grouse tent that was giving out free nips of whisky and free hats. The Famous Grouse are no longer sponsoring Scotland so they might not have tents there next year...i may be wrong on this of course.

Your mate was probably talking about Rose Street. A really narrow street of pubs behind Princes Street. Your not going to go wrong with any of these pubs really, all really good atmosphere and you will meet loads of people going to the game. there is pubs all the way up to murrayfield, but the closer you get to the stadium the busier the are. hope this helps.
