Default PVC Rugby Posts?

My club is hosting a tournament for which we will need a bunch of cheap but sturdy posts. Does anyone have any tips for making posts out of PVC pipe (or any other method of making cheap/sturdy tournament posts).

I don't think he's looking for Soccer/Football posts, I think he's looking for Rugby ones.

I'm aware of that but it might be a useful start - depends how tall he needs them I guess.

If he sends the website owner a E-Mail, the owner may be able to make some Rugby Posts expecially for him.

These would be posts for a tournament, not permanent posts for our regular pitch. That means they would have to be removed after the tournament. Steel pipe posts that are set into the ground with cement don't really fit the bill. It needs to be able to be easily assembled at the pitch, and then be disassembled and hauled away by nothing more than your standard pickup truck and trailer.

Sparky, who are you referring to exactly? Vertical Sports, or the chief moderator of this specific Rugby Forum?

I meant send a E-Mail to the owner of the site that makes posts and he might be able to make you some.

SportsKnowHow.com - Rugby Field Dimensions Diagram

Here, the goal post size is on there. Just make em yourself. It shouldn't cost that much.

Edit: I see you need to know how to make them. If you can find a joint (don't know the actual name) like a cross without the right arm. Buy 2 of those, and 5 pipes, make sure all of this fits the size I gave you. You might need the bottom pipes a little longer than 3 Metres so you can secure this in the ground. Take two of your pipes, put one pipe in the bottom of the joint, and the other on the top. Do the same with the other side, and use the other pipe for a crossbar. Then dig 2 holes a little wider than the pipe, put it in the holes, and secure it with the dirt. If you want a regulation rugby field you'll have to do this two times. One on each end.

It's kinda hard to explain, but I hope you understand.
