The wichita state barbarians are a bunch of 50 year old whiny bitches. i watched them play this weekend, and i have never seen a worse display of sportsmanship in my life. they were ahead mind you, of a very young, new to the game group of guys who were obviously still learning the game, and they proceeded to cry about ANY small infraction, while getting away with murder themselves. how did they do this you might ask? well the ref, a younger man himself, was a giant pussy, and proceeded to allow them to intimidate him into pretty much letting them call the game. anything they complained about he called. he then had the nerve to go tell the YOUNGER guys at half time that if they didn't stop the chatter that he would start producing cards. pretty fucking sad. it was enough to make me not want to ever play the game of rugby again. i understand that some things go unnoticed, and refs blow some calls, but this was ridiculous. to any barbarian out there: you are a fucking pussy. join a senior league you bunch of old geezer fucks who act like 7 year olds. especially the #8, who ironicly was their captain. you are the biggest open-mouthed breathing pussy i have ever seen. get a life and get on to an old person home and quit your bitching.

Is this the game they won 65-12?

As for whining, many athletes do that. It takes way from the flow of the game imo. I am with you about not liking the complaining.

well, i think they actually beat us by a lot more than that unfortunatly, which only made it worse. they were up by atleast 70 i'm ashamed to say, hell we had over half a team of first timers, but they still continued to whine and bully everyone on the field, especially the ref. it just made it a terrible time for everyone involved. i overheard a couple of fans saying, "oh, i thought rugby was supposed to be a gentleman's game, these guys are jerks," and all kinds of stuff like that. i didn't mean to get up on a soap-box, i'm sure no one in this forum has any idea who they are or cares for that matter, it just made me feel a little better to get it off my chest. my coach informed me today that we will no longer have anything to do with them, as he talked to a few other coaches in our conference who had experienced the same poor sportsmanship.

hey the good thing about a beating such as that one is what comes around goes around. Sometime in the future, your team will remember! They will beat the hell of them.

I don't like whinners either. The worse kind are those that whine when the game is not in doubt. I agree with you.
