Top 14 - Cibray season in doubt
Biarritz's highly-rated scrum-half Fabien Cibray looks set to miss the rest of the season after undergoing cartilage surgery on his right knee on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old (pictured) - who skippered the France Under-21 side to victory in the 2006 world championships - came through the operation successfully but the most optimistic prognosis was that he would be out for at least three months.
Cibray, who previously played for Pau, has played four times this season in the French championship.
Fortunately for Biarritz - who are presently fourth in the title race 17 points adrift of leaders Toulouse - French international scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili has recently returned to first team action after being out injured.
