EDINBURGH stand-off Phil Godman was the hero in Belfast after his late drop goal made it three Magners League wins in a row for the Gunners.

After a scrappy start from both sides Ulster stepped up the pressure and deservedly broke the deadlock in the 16th minute when flanker Steven Ferris crossed the try line. Ian Humphreys' conversion drifted wide.
