Bradford proved too strong for Wakefield as they recorded their first win in three Super League games.
Although both sides scored five tries, Paul Deacon converted all of his side's efforts with his Wakefield counterpart Danny Brough only managing one.
Chris Nero and veteran Steve Menzies both scored two tries for the home side while Julien Rinaldi added another.
Sean Gleeson's first-half hat-trick was to no avail for the Wildcats with Steve Snitch and Scott Grix also scoring.
