Italian Sides To Join Magners League
The BBC is reporting that two Italian sides are to join the Magners League starting with the 2010/11 season.
Although Calvisano and Treviso are the two teams currently creating an imbalance in the Heineken Cup, one of the new suggestions on the table for the Magners is a team based in Rome.
Officials apparently are hoping the introduction of international domestic competition for Italian players will boost the Italian national side, much has it has done for Scotland.
