Latham was injured attempting a try-saving tackle on Gloucester full-back Olly Morgan. His absence from Sunday's trip to bottom-placed Bristol will be a blow to Worcester, though the importance of that match has been reduced by his team establishing a lead of 14 points over their rivals at the foot of the table.
Mike Ruddock, Worcester's director of rugby, said that Latham, 33, might help out on the coaching front during his recovery from the injury, but added that the Australian was not considering a full-time role.
