Veteran coach John Kear is coming to terms with a new problem in Wakefield's troubled season - having too many players to choose from.
Kear has guided the Wildcats to four wins from their first six matches despite an horrendous run of injury and illness which has meant that his team has so far virtually picked itself.
He has even been forced to call on two part-time players after watching his 26-man Super League squad decimated by a series of cruel blows.
