Former Great Britain international Brian Carney is to make a return to professional rugby league after agreeing to join Warrington Wolves from July until the end of the season.
Winger Carney has spent the last two years with Irish rugby union side Munster, making 19 appearances and scoring five tries.
He also played four times for the Ireland national side and was selected as part of the 2007 Rugby World Cup squad, but endured a difficult period as the Irish struggled in the tournament and were knocked out in the group stages.
The 32-year-old's overall experience in union has been somewhat blunted by injury, with his last game for Munster being a pre-season game last year.
However, it seems Warrington are willing to take a chance on his fitness with Wolves head coach Tony Smith saying he is "really excited by the prospect of getting to work with Brian".
