MELBOURNE Storm star Greg Inglis has been cleared of serious damage to his knee, but was still in doubt for Friday night's National Rugby League round-two clash against the Broncos in Brisbane.
Inglis injured his knee early in the Storm's 17-16 win over St George Illawarra last Friday night and after a MRI scan yesterday, which showed there was no structural damage, he had a cortisone injection to ease the bruising.
Earlier, Storm coach Craig Bellamy had voiced concern about Inglis, saying, "he's in some doubt (as) he's got two injuries, but hopefully he'll be OK".
