Greetings from Gruenen,

I hail from "The Land of the Long White Cloud" New Zealand. There are three teams that I admire most ie: All Blacks, Springboks and Wales.

As a kid in the 1960's and 1970's my idols apart from the All Blacks were and still are the Great Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams, Gerald Davies, John Dawes. These gentlemen are still revered in New Zealand, and formed a formidable combination with the 1971 Lions of whom I had the pleasure of watching and dismantling many New Zealand Provinces and the All Blacks.

But one gentlemen whom I regard and stands among the greats is Willie John McBride from Ireland, Ill not forget the day when I attended the game Lions vs Wanganui-King Country, 1971 and he stood side by side with Colin "Pinetree" Meads representing King Country in a combined Wanganui King Country Team.
