On a cold, wet night Friday, BYU came from behind and then pulled away late, defeating rival Utah 34-10.
The wet conditions had both teams fighting for field position in the first half and struggling to score. After a high tackle penalty, BYU was forced to play a man down. Utah capitalized with a late first-half field goal and went into the half up 10-7.

"Both teams played well for this stage in the season," BYU coach David Smyth said. "In the end, we probably just wore them down a bit, we were just a little bit more physical."
